I recently increased my CPU's clock speed to 4.5ghz for better performance and wanted to check if the vcore was adequate and if my temperatures are acceptable. With a H80i V2, I usually see around 30c at idle and 60% fan speed with 68-70c during gameplay or full load. Is this within normal ranges?
It depends on the chipset; you can overclock at 1.28 V as well. If it's not stable, try increasing voltage and retest. On the other side, 1.3 V works fine.

I have adjusted my 6600K to run at 4.8GHz with a vcore of 1.4V, but I've also found success using 1.35V. Test your CPU by stressing all four cores using CPU-Z and monitor temperatures. Your readings are 66ºC during full load and 22ºC when idle. You might also try gaming to see if freezing, restarts, or BSOD occur. Consider raising the CPU vcore if needed.
