Hey, your monitor has been with you for about seven years now. Today you noticed it was backlit but nothing appeared on the screen. You tried restarting both the PC and the monitor, changed the HDMI to DP connection, and even switched the power outlet. When two monitors are connected, programs you open on the secondary one appear on the main screen, but you can't see them. The monitor also shows its logo and a HUD with adjustable settings, yet nothing is visible. It's just a backlit display. Are you sure it's still functioning properly? Let me know if you need help further. Thanks!

Are you sure the problem is with the monitor and not the video card? Have you checked for any video card output? Maybe the video cable is pinched or broken in some way. Sorry, just need more information on what you have done to diagnose the problem. Take care and good luck.

Thanks for the update. The graphics card functions properly—other monitors have also been tried.

Do you know how to install TVs, monitors, and similar devices? If not, take them to a repair shop that offers this service.

I haven't done that before, but I'm guessing I'll have to - do you know what typical repair costs are like? It might be worth considering a replacement if it's costly. Appreciate the help!

It relies on the outcome and effort involved. It might be $20 or $200.
