Hey, I’ve got a monitor around one and a half years that just stopped working, showing nothing on the screen. After switching my GPU from a RX 580 to a RX 6600, I was concerned it might be the issue. I’ve done everything I could—cleaned drivers, updated BIOS, reset CMOS, booted in safe mode, swapped cables and connectors, even tried different power supplies. I’ve also disabled SAM, re-seated components, and dusted everything. The monitor still powers on, shows the AOC logo, and sometimes works with a different cable or device. It even lets my laptop connect via HDMI to VGA and my Switch display, though it caps at 480p. Windows Update picked up the right inputs, and the video cables were plugged in correctly. The odd part is that when I connect another cable, the orange light flashes white but the screen remains black until it finally goes black again. Windows doesn’t recognize a new monitor. I suspect it might not be a hardware failure since other setups worked, but I’m stuck trying more fixes. I’ve already reached out to AOC for support and hope they can help soon. Thanks for your time—I really appreciate any advice!
