I recently acquired an LG Ultragear 34GN850-B, everything has been working smoothly until recently. My computer shuts down unexpectedly at times. After restarting, it attempts to boot again but fails. The Event Viewer displays the message: The AMDRyzenMasterDriverV20 service failed to start because the system couldn't locate a required file. It seems these crashes began after I installed the new AMD driver. Could it be that the updated driver and my LG monitor together are causing the issues? I've since returned to using my old Gigabyte monitor, which has not experienced any problems. I'm willing to try an update if needed. My system specs include: 5800X3D, 6750xt, 750w PSU, 32GB DDR4 RAM.
AFAIK there is no correlation with the monitor. At worst, you should just be losing the display output, not crashing the entire system. You probably want to focus on troubleshooting the ryzen master issue. Checkout this reddit post. Edit registry at your own risk, I've never had this problem myself, but there are people saying this stopped their crashes. Someone as recent as 15 days ago saying this solved their crashes.
