The owner's guide confirms 16GB support exists. Are you planning to use two 8GB modules or a single 16GB module? Keep in mind that achieving 3200MHz may be more challenging. If your BIOS supports XMP profiles, you might have a better chance, though most standard RAM appears at 2666MHz and pre-built units from Dell, HP, etc., often lack this feature. The manual also notes a maximum speed of 2666MHz for i5 chips. I suggest checking your BIOS settings before finalizing your purchase (you’ve ordered but haven’t received it yet) to confirm XMP memory options. While some platforms aren’t heavily reliant on speed, opting for higher-end 3200MHz RAM isn’t advantageous if you’re not getting it.

I am in the BIOS at the moment I see memory speed and it says 2666mhz I see no option for XMP is it supposed to be right in front of me

Sorry to repeat, but here are the prices and you mentioned I couldn’t run more RAM unless it was a big deal. The higher speed RAM isn’t worth the cost much, but it could still help in the long run. In short, will my PC fail if I go for 3000MHz?
