I mostly use Fortnite but usually hit about 100 FPS, sometimes as low as 80. My computer benchmarks say I should be able to run games smoothly, so I’m confused about why it’s not performing well.

5500 lags noticeably compared to higher-end models like the 5600 or 5600X. A benchmark with scores similar to cinebench and 3D Mark would be useful. The settings influence how accurate those numbers are. Are you achieving the best performance from your graphics card? Not really. Do you expect solid frame rates across most titles? Yes.

Fortnite's FPS depends on various resolutions and configurations. Make sure you specify the exact settings you used for benchmarking.
