Avoid doing that. Check your BIOS settings, specifically the top left corner. If it shows P2.10 or a higher version, your 3600 should function without needing an update. P2.10 is typically the factory-supplied BIOS for the board. Here’s the link with supported CPUs and required BIOS versions: https://www.asrock.com/mb/amd/b450m steel legend/#CPU

That is a later BIOS so absolutely good to go! You might need a BIOS update if you plan on putting a 5000 series CPU in later, but for now its all good.
