Check if you can boost the performance of your Asus VX238H monitor.
Hello everyone,
I just learned that you can overclock your monitor, but only for certain models. My device is an Asus VX238H (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...6824236305), I’m using the HDMI to DVI cable that came with it, and the specifications don’t mention anything about overclocking. I’m curious if this monitor is safe for overclocking (I can’t afford multiple units) and whether increasing the refresh rate in EVGA Precision X OC will help.
Thank you!
all hdmi cables are set to 60hz and using them could damage your monitor since it isn't designed for that speed.
What type of cable would be suitable? This model accommodates HDMI x2, D-Sub, and DVI-D through an HDMI-to-DVI adapter. Also, could HDMI 1.3 (or 3.1) support up to 144 Hz at 1080p resolution?
