The question addresses concerns about 24H2's performance and whether upgrading from version 10 to 11 is necessary after recent issues. It also references comparisons of gaming performance between versions 10 and 11, noting that version 10 tends to outperform. The intent is to understand the current state of 24H2 and decide if an upgrade is worthwhile.

All of my Windows 11 machines, including Home and Pro, are operating smoothly at 24H2 without any problems.

I didn't check the performance numbers before and after, but I haven't had any problems with the updates.

Windows 11 has become a major issue. It began normally but if MS forces 24H2 even when it shouldn't, things go wrong. The first step you need to take is create a local account with your MS account and, if you use Windows Hello, disable "For enhanced security... allow Hello only". Checking it up shows you can end up in trouble. I was completely locked out in both production and safe mode. I turned off Hello through the registry but still couldn't access it. I enabled the built-in admin account, but it didn't appear. I tried a local user account with a strange workaround, but I couldn't gain the necessary privileges. In short, Windows 11 is like Schrödinger's cat—both possible and dangerous.

I upgraded from Windows 10 Home to Windows 11 and then to Windows 24H2, and everything is working smoothly. My primary machine runs Windows 11 Pro 24H2, and this version feels more responsive than the previous one. I’m satisfied with both. These systems aren’t designed for gaming and have standard setups. I also have another system without a compatible processor; I expect to install 24H2 on it within the next three months.

I've already purchased a Wind 11 Pro key and decided to try it out.
