Hello! I'm thinking about upgrading my PC since I found a new 5800X3D for $200 on eBay (still waiting to ship). My current configuration includes: CPU 5600G, 32GB RAM at 3600MHz, Gigabyte B450M DS3H motherboard, Wi-Fi, 2TB SSD, and a 650W Platinum power supply with Thermalright X90SE cooler. I won't overclock but will enable PBO. It's time to decide if this upgrade is necessary or if my existing setup is sufficient for the current platform.

If you sell your current CPU, you'd get around $125 after average prices and fees. It might still make sense to upgrade later, especially if the 5800 X570 falls significantly in value.

In games you’ll notice a significant improvement in many titles. The price to upgrade looks fair given your setup, and you might even earn some money by selling the CPU you currently have.
