I'm considering updating my BIOS before adding the CPU to avoid problems. The latest version is AMI BIOS7E51v1A32025-03-05, and some users faced issues after changing RAM profiles. It might be wise to update first rather than risking instability.

I don’t have direct experience with this problem, but I’m confident you won’t face any serious issues during the BIOS update. It should take only a few minutes, though. On the other hand, if your motherboard supports flashing without the CPU installed, it might be best to proceed.

When it functions, simply let it continue.

But the issue is that Will keeps running until it stops, right? If using an old BIOS increases the risk of CPU damage and motherboard failure, I think it’s better to update the BIOS from the start and lower that chance. I don’t know if that makes sense in English.

Ensure the update proceeds without burning by making the UEFI BIOS fully reachable and powering the CPU. This method simplifies flashing the BIOS compared to using quick flash buttons.
