Fast action or heavy motion blur can be particularly challenging to render clearly. Certain titles require high pixel density for optimal display. Rocket League is a prime example of a game that struggles to stream smoothly at 1080p60 on Twitch. Many partners have shifted to 936p to simplify the process, avoiding constant changes in stream or game settings so the visuals remain consistent across different games.

I’m preparing to broadcast a game that runs at a moderate pace in third person with multiplayer elements. The main concern is whether my i7 3770K can handle 1080p at 60 frames per second without issues, given that the rest of the system appears fine. The only workload will be managing the stream, so I figured since my GTX 1050 Ti handles encoding and its load is lighter, my CPU—being a third-generation i7—should suffice instead of the higher-end models suggested by Elgato.
