When you're working with 85+ under a complete Cinebench test, it signals your cooling isn't sufficient. It doesn’t give you enough room to run at full performance. 77c is solid, but the type of workload matters.

It varies based on your task. On the desktop, it’s bad and the cooling might be failing. When running Prime95 Small FFTs, it works perfectly.

You might prefer a higher temperature setting for better results.

Playing games in the mid to upper 70s is what my 5900X experiences with PBO turned on alongside custom water cooling. Prime95 can cause significant load during a session if you use a mix of settings. Running with smaller FFTs or picking 192 for the FFT size usually keeps your CPU from overheating much. I'd be surprised to hear it stays below 90°C.

This indicates your situation has limited air movement due to excessive heat retention. What type of case are you referring to?

That was after a 10 minute, in fact this was to my other post here . If you don't want to see that post, here is just the Prime95 after 10 minutes of stress testing on all cores Fractal Focus G
