You're planning to assemble a PC using the Ryzen 5 3600 processor and the MSI B450M Gaming Pro Carbon AC motherboard. It's normal to feel a bit unsure about compatibility, especially if you're new to building. The good news is that both components are well-supported and commonly used together. Just make sure your motherboard BIOS is updated before installation, and double-check the processor socket match. If you're comfortable with the basics, this setup should work smoothly!

Yes, it can work. But a board running an older BIOS might not identify the CPU automatically. In such cases, you'll need to utilize the BIOS Flashback function to update it via a USB drive.

Check your system's manufacturer website or the device's label for BIOS version details. You can also use a BIOS detection tool to identify the current version.

It seems to be in great condition. I recently purchased an MSI B450I Gaming Plus AC and it performed perfectly with a 3900X right away.
