I have two monitors linked directly to my RTX 5090 graphics card using DisplayPort cables. There’s no unusual daisy-chaining or other issues. On Monitor 1, DisplayPort 1 connects to the GPU output, and on Monitor 2, it connects to the same GPU output. The primary monitor is set as monitor #1 in Windows 11, while the secondary is monitor #2, with the desktop spanning both. When I turn off Monitor 2, Monitor 1 loses the GPU signal and enters standby mode even though it’s marked as primary. What could be causing this? I’m struggling to figure it out.
