I recently acquired the entire Tomb Raider lineup on sale for $43 on Steam and have been progressing through the newer titles. I’m nearing completion of Tomb Raider 2013. I was a bit anxious about playing SotTR since rumors suggested it might stutter at 9600k. The 9600k also made me hesitant when buying Ubisoft games, as they seem to struggle with 6c/6t configurations. Overall, it would be great not to have to deal with those issues, especially knowing the 5900X supports almost any game today and likely for years to come. Given that most current consoles run underclocked 4750G CPUs, I’m confident upcoming releases won’t require more than 8c/16t performance, giving me plenty of flexibility.
