They're still interested in purchasing One Mans Lie? It's hard to say the year, as I ended up with a pre-order and the lady spent a lot of time trying to get a refund. Perhaps one day I'll try again, but if you're into Mass Effect, it's best to steer clear—it feels like a storyless joke, and Spore would be a better choice.

It should have cost £16 when it first launched. I managed to play through several hours of it. After securing some storage space, the game significantly improved. Still, mining resources was a major part of the experience—about half the fun. Unfortunately, the mining felt very repetitive and uninteresting. Now there are portals, letting you see other players, though you can't interact with them. I’d recommend waiting until it drops to £1.60; I know someone with an extra copy...

It's a good deal for the price. Even after its release, I spent around 20 hours playing it, making it worth the 20 bucks or so. The recent updates have significantly improved it, bringing it closer to its original potential. Don't listen to those who criticize it—they seem to either play a subpar version or skip the updates. Now it's worth considering at this price.

They say 30 hours of content has been included, though that sounds questionable. Building and trading are also part of it, which is why I’m interested. The term "procedurally generated" often comes with a negative connotation.

I love testing before committing. You might find it funny—the game is just a few gigabytes. You could jump in within ten minutes. If you don’t like it, request a Steam refund (within the two-hour play window). There’s also a Go version available... probably free, but you’ll need to pay eventually.

The 30-hour claim seems quite ambitious. I haven't tried the "story" yet, so I can't comment on it. Even if it were just 10 hours, that's more than most games nowadays offer with their shorter campaigns. Edit: I might feel a bit upset about the so-called sli support for NMS, though—it’s actually negative performance support. Sli turned on... around 20fps or less and plenty of glitches.

The GoG version is quite useful. Are there any issues if you decide to return it?

I could test it using the Steam refund period in mind. Are the planets truly unique now, or are they just re-rolls from the same components?
