I've been using this MSI motherboard for a few weeks now, and since installation it's been slow to respond. When I power it on, it identifies either RAM or the CPU, then after roughly a minute the DRAM and CPU indicators disappear and it begins logging. I have a Ryzen 7 7800X with 3D DRAM and 32GB DDR5 Trident Z RAM at 6000 MHz. Note* (even after it starts logging once the lights fade, it still takes about a minute to open Windows even with a Samsung 980 Pro NVMe SSD).

It’s typical for users of 7000 series Ryzen and DDR5 RAM to focus on memory training. You should open the BIOS, turn on Memory Context Restore, and confirm it’s set to Enable rather than Disable or Auto.

Remember that restoring memory requires enabling power-down mode as well. Otherwise, it might just start up without doing anything.

Only if you encounter BSODs after turning it on would that apply. I’d start with power-down mode first. So far, one computer with MCR enabled has problems, while others work fine.

Sure, just making sure it's set up correctly. Everything looks good.
