Hello, I'm facing an issue with my Dell G15 5520 laptop (I5 12th Gen, RTX 3050, 4GB RAM). Despite trying various updates—new BIOS, drivers, power plans—I still experience random crashes. I've even used an external USB sound card without improvement. The problem occurs randomly during gaming and browsing. My warranty claim was denied because the seller claims it's a software issue after OS changes. Anyone have any suggestions or solutions? Laptops like this can be tricky!

laptops are definitely not this; it seems more like a software problem since you managed to capture the audio. I’d suggest running cmd prompt with admin sfc /scannow—if any corruption is found, it might resolve it. Since you haven’t fixed it with drivers, reinstalling Windows by downloading an ISO from their site could help. After that, open setup.exe in the ISO files and choose to keep everything; this often works to fix the issue. This isn’t a laptop defect at all.

It's strange because I've tested many formats, updates, and drivers, but the issue keeps happening. Do you think the hardware is still okay?

I've owned a Dell laptop a couple of years ago (probably a Dell Inspiron 5570), and faced the same issue. It had an AMD Radeon 530 graphics card paired with an Intel i7 8th generation processor. I checked the Dell forums, but after trying various solutions, I found that one approach worked for me. I'm looking to see if others tried similar fixes and got results. In the meantime, you can give it a shot and let me know what happens.
