yesterday i resolved the problem i've faced for a long time. at first i assumed it was gpu-related, but after testing, i realized the issue might be with the hdmi connection. i checked various cables and drivers, and still can't get flickering even without the vga port. my monitor only has one hdmi and vga input, so i'm certain the port is faulty. i've tried different cables and connections before, but nothing changed. given my budget, i'm wondering if it's possible to fix or replace the hdmi port affordably.

I thought you were attempting to use DDU and reinstall drivers. Consider trying a more recent driver instead.

I've also used DDU and kept updating to the newest drivers whenever available. Over the years, no driver has fixed this problem, and all symptoms suggest a monitor-related issue.

Your monitor might be the issue, a nearby electronics repair shop should handle it, HDMI parts are very popular.
