the chip that needs to be replaced doesn't cost much, the biggest problem is that I lost my soldering tool and im not the best at it Besides all this, I have a question to everyone? what do you all think caused all this? I was thinking of a failed repair but the company blamed me for seating it in incorrectly? which i am pretty sure wasn't the problem because i made sure its seated all the way in with a screw to hold it in place

I’d begin by inspecting the board for any short circuits. Once the blown mosfet is removed, proceed accordingly.

I'm referring to the circuit board. When parts fail, they can damage the board. You might not notice any harm on the opposite side—it will just melt the solder coating and reveal the copper underneath.
