In vanilla mode it's set to 30 by default, which makes the game extremely fast if unlocked and becomes unplayable. In Gameranger multiplayer it runs around 1500 fps, making it nearly impossible to enjoy. To lock the game in Gameranger, you'll need to adjust the settings manually or use a different configuration.

The game runs smoothly at 60 FPS, animations are active at 30, and it’s up to date with the latest patch.

After restarting the game and testing a bit, I recall it consistently operates at 30 FPS. That’s fine for an RTS title, but the main concern is smooth mouse control. The target is roughly 60 FPS for the mouse, though boosting the game speed would be necessary to hit that without compromising performance.

Using Game Ranger results in a smooth 1500 fps performance, though it can feel excessively fast and challenging to play.

I assumed you only needed 60 FPS in the game, so I checked gamedata.ini and verified UseFPSLimit was enabled. If not, you can try forcing it to 30 FPS via the NVIDIA/AMD control panel in game settings. Another option is to use MSI Afterburner, enabling its universal FPS locking feature and setting it to 30 whenever you switch to Gamerange.

I'll use MSI afterburner. There are no options in the options.ini "fps" setting.
