Hello everyone, your MOBO has an HDMI 1.4 port, but that doesn’t necessarily block you from showing 1440p at 144hz. If you stream directly from the GPU, that’s a different setup altogether. You’re probably just mixing up how you connect and display your content. Clarify your setup so I can give better advice.

This performance standard for graphics is unlikely to work with onboard displays, especially for gaming.

Yes, you can launch DisplayPort directly through the GPU.

Other processing units should deliver 1440p or higher quality output.

Run the display port through the GPU. Most built-in GPUs are found only on certain low-end CPUs. You likely don’t have one. It’s probably not needed. If you own a graphics card, use it—this is ideal for gaming.

On-board is intended for fixing issues or browsing the web... solid settings, though refresh speeds are limited.

Ensure your CPU supports an integrated GPU like the R5 3400G; otherwise, the HDMI port won't work and you'll need a dedicated GPU.
