Is the Asus TUF Gaming B550 Plus suitable for your setup? I'm assembling my first PC and checking if the motherboard can support my components. I'm planning to play pancake and VR games, so I want to make sure everything fits well.

According to the listed tiers, the TUF Plus ranks as an A level, which is more than sufficient for the 5600X. It should perform excellently for you!

TUF series performs well. The B550 meets the needs of most users. You only need the X570 board if you require extra PCI-E lanes or stronger overclocking features that manufacturers usually add to the x series. Still, B550 is unlocked and has no restrictions. I used an ASUS B450 TUF board and was very satisfied with it.
