During stress tests I hit 69c Max on my 12700k with the H150i. In gaming performance is usually lower, which is my main scenario. Today was a warm day without air conditioning. Usually I wouldn’t use the mod, but since it’s simple and I have the necessary components, plus I’m uncertain about the long-term effects of ILM pressure on the IHS, it’s worth considering. Honestly, I’d prefer someone to advise me not to make changes—it’s functioning well, a quick 5-minute task could turn into a lengthy issue! (I still recall that closing the arm applied more pressure than I anticipated during the initial build.)
At full capacity (when you reach the desired clock speed), it gets extremely cold. Stay away from anything.
