I wonder if there are other distinctions between processors in the same series and category besides frequency. I've increased the basic clock speed on my i5 3350p via BIOS, and it's remained stable for nearly a year without any BSODs. The temperatures are also decent (under 55-56°C) thanks to my CM T4.

They share the same design, so speed depends directly on clock rate.
At identical rates, results will match.

it should be near, possibly just under, but not significantly better. the 3570k offers a 10-15% boost in all stock speeds compared to the 3350p.
