Hello everyone!
I’m currently working on upgrading my desktop.
I’ve already purchased a Ryzen 7 7700 and plan to order memory and a motherboard.
I really like the Kingston FURY Beast 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 because they match my requirements and are slim profile.
I intend to install them on a Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX V2 board.
The aim is to enable the AMD EXPO profile and keep it active.
Are these RAM modules and the motherboard compatible?
I’ve checked compatibility using the sites https://nl.pcpartpicker.com and https://pangoly.com/en, and they look fine.
However, on the official manufacturer pages it only appears when I select the Ryzen 9000-series CPU option.
I suspect they should work with the Ryzen 7 7700, but I thought it might be outdated, so I wanted to confirm before ordering the final components.
Thanks ahead of time 🙏

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
The aim is to turn on the AMD EXPO profile and keep it active.

This RAM kit supports AMD's E.X.P.O, you're all set! Ensure your system runs the latest BIOS after POST, then reset the CMOS. After installing the OS, activate E.X.P.O in BIOS and you should be fine.

Lutfij appreciates your kind welcome and the reassurance regarding compatibility. I'll also adjust the BIOS according to your instructions. It's wise to do this on a clean system. Thank you once more. 🙏

Encountered compatibility problems after upgrading to faster RAM—found my motherboard downclocking it to align with the CPU's capabilities. Tools such as CPU-Z identified the issue, and a lightweight monitor like Mem Reduct allows me to monitor memory usage without extra load.

Just to inform you, everything is ready and I’ve upgraded my desktop PC.
For the Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX V2, I changed the BIOS to F34a and activated EXPO Profile #0 (DDR5-6000 CL30-36-36 @1.4V) for the Kingston FURY Beast 64 GB DDR5-6000 CL30 memory.
No problems encountered so far.
It looks like DDR5-6000 with CL30 is ideal for AM5, which is why I chose not to go for faster options.
Thanks.
