You might be able to run it at high settings while maintaining around 30 frames per second.

Approximately 30 frames per second are achievable, but high settings may consume more than 2.3GB.

Adjusting to High Preset provides 3GB peaks and an average of 2.8GB, while setting to Low yields 1.8GB average with 2.1GB peaks

Your 7770 requires less VRAM compared to your 580 even when running identical configurations, which makes it hard to be sure about those measurements. The big differences in GPU and memory usage aren't really helping the comparison.

Hey there, I’m using a GTX 580 and just played Fallout 4 for five hours. At high settings it works fine but feels a bit too many frames for smooth gameplay. Switching to medium helped, and lowering it to low still gives great results. Overall, it’s not the top choice for ultra quality in Fallout 4—especially if you’re aiming for that. Edit: I’m currently using 2560x1440 resolution.

Latest cards store information more efficiently, which explains why a 960 requires 1.5GB whereas a 6970 reaches its full capacity of 2GB

Lowest requirements are 2GB to 1.5GB, though performance may drop slightly; at 1050p it should function fine.

The minimum spec requires a 550Ti chip that doesn’t support 2GB storage.
