Do you still possess the 1700? That minor detail about the title isn’t crucial. The whole idea of code numbers doesn’t always point to the specific CPU generation you’re using. Some chips labeled as 3xxx are actually Zen+ (essentially 2xxx), while the 3600 is considered Zen2. This is one of the more frustrating issues with AMD. It’s incredibly annoying for many users, so they even tried changing the number to fix it only to break it again later. Ultimately, the code number system becomes almost useless. What really matters is the Zen generation of the CPU and whether there’s an iGPU involved. As far as I understand, AMD’s marketing tactics often do more damage than help.
