The main point is clear. I was considering setting it up but wanted to find out if anyone still supports multiplayer or if there are any active players. I remember Halo 1 PC used gamespy for hosting, but I’m not sure about H2V.
The main servers ceased operations in 2013. We often host it during LAN gatherings, though online play is no longer available. An update says the servers remain active, but Microsoft confirmed plans to shut them down by June 2014. They’re still up, so enjoy some Halo2 until then.
