I successfully boosted performance by 13.3% through manual adjustment of pbo limits. The peak temperature reached during full core load rose from 60°C to 80°C. I'm curious—would running at 80°C for all core tasks be safe? Idle temp stays around 34°C. Average core frequency during Cinebench R23 was 4.65GHz, with a peak of 80°C and an average of 77°C.

It isn't ideal, yet it shouldn't cause major issues because it gets very hot only under heavy use. Most laptops become warmer than this during peak demand and still function properly. Ideally, you'd upgrade your cooling solution if you intend to push the overclock further. In the worst scenario, the CPU might reach its limit and reduce performance to prevent damage. Even if it manages to exceed the safe threshold, the system could power down to protect itself. Also, just for fun—have you tried this overclock for the tasks you actually intend to perform? Cinebench isn't reliable unless you're doing complex 3D modeling or similar intensive work. If you're mainly gaming, you might save energy by keeping the overclock lower, though games usually won't stress the CPU enough to cause excessive heat.
