Early '70s setup, using PBO with big boosts, offset by a 280mm AIO. Also uses a quiet fan profile—aim for 80°C before fans exceed 50% speed.

It was interesting since I reached about 68°C or 70°C after changing the cases, but this happened with the Ryzen 5 3600, not the 5800X.

Case plays a significant role often overlooked. People assume it doesn’t matter much, but today’s parts generate far more heat than older ones did. Take the 3090 for example—it can handle 400-500W based on setup. The amount of heat produced is enormous. In practice, mesh front panels are no longer practical; unless your build uses very low-power parts, any sealed case will face thermal challenges unless you add plenty of cooling solutions like radiators or fans.
