They may avoid testing top speeds since it could negatively affect their data presentation.

It's quite a deal, isn't it? Just $67.20 for all my connections, especially since I'm based in the UK.

I just found out du are slowing internet speeds because the 200 aed plan doesn’t provide enough bandwidth. At night (around 10-11 pm) speeds drop to about 0.8 Mbps, and by 4-5 am they jump to 28.8 Mbps. It looks like ISP Throlling is responsible?

Despite a 5G plan, consistent speed remains uncertain. ISP throttling affects internet performance. Offers include unlimited free data and a free router for 24 months.

Several ISPs offering unmetered connections still limit speed at certain thresholds or during specific hours. This happens because WCDMA technology relies on all devices transmitting simultaneously, requiring higher power when demand rises—making it hard to enforce strict throttling like with traditional lines. For wireless services, providers reportedly restrict the number of channels a user can use, resulting in bandwidth between 0.5 and 0.8 Mbps, sufficient for voice calls but insufficient for video quality.
