I possess a 1080p 31.5-inch display with a 240Hz VA panel, featuring a 1800R curve, Freesync technology, and it has received 4.5 reviews on Amazon. About 80% of them are 5-star ratings. It seems suitable since you already have a 1080p setup, allowing for high FPS performance.

When seated a distance away, it works. But if you're right next to me, it won't look very appealing.

The question arises about why sitting near 1 meter makes the view less appealing. It might relate to how pixels are displayed at that distance.

You can view your own questions confidently. A 1080p monitor at 31.5 inches appears sharp when positioned properly, as shown on the site. The guidelines suggest about 49 inches for 1920x1080p and 37 inches for 2560x1440p to avoid pixel visibility.

I used to watch a 48-inch 1080p TV, but I didn’t really see the tiny pixel at 1.8 meters—it was fine.

It seems my TV setup is solid. I noticed a 48"/50" 1080p model in the store, but it looked quite poor from two meters away.
