Primarily for the summer in the UK because it becomes extremely hot. Not much effort needed to push the CPU to its maximum.

Is the temperature sufficient to trigger thermal throttling? Unless it reaches 100°C, you likely don’t need to take extra steps to maximize your computer’s performance. The CPU is designed to operate up to 100°C during full boost for the entire warranty, and with Raptor Lake stability issues avoided, it should function well for many years. If you’re mainly concerned about comfort rather than raw performance, that’s acceptable. You should feel at ease using your machine, and if it feels uncomfortable above 90°C, consider a cooling solution. Remember, prioritizing comfort over actual gains is perfectly reasonable.
