It's meant exactly that. Stop the download and attempt to restart it once more. EGS performs quite well here; I usually choose a clean reinstall rather than checking it, since they often accept slightly damaged files which can lead to visual issues. This works fine for Fortnite but isn't ideal for many current games with large file sizes.
