I received a new XPS 15 9520 running Windows 11 Pro. I linked it with a Microsoft account and then set up a local account. My laptop has been restarted multiple times, and I only noticed the update notification once. When searching for Windows updates online, I see many available updates. Should I install all of them even if I’m unsure what they are? Some appear to be Dell drivers, but they aren’t the ones already downloaded. Is it necessary to download every update when getting a new laptop?

I update everything on my Laptop whenever I have a chance. Even if the drivers are already installed, it's giving you the option to update to newer drivers if and when they are available. I would download all of them, but make sure you let them all download and update completely before you restart or anything. I've had one hiccup when I had a wall of updates before, and it ironed itself out eventually. So I wouldn't be too worried about downloading all the updates.
