The main idea is to keep chipset drivers current for optimal performance. For your Asus Tuf X570 Pro WiFi II, it’s recommended to update the drivers to ensure stability and security. You should obtain them from Asus since they are manufacturer-specific. While there’s a lot of mixed advice online, sticking with the official source is usually best.

When dealing with any driver, it's usually wise to avoid updating it. If you're playing a game with compatibility problems, know about a security vulnerability, or are facing issues with your system and need troubleshooting, those situations justify an update—but if everything runs smoothly, minimizing software changes is preferable. I even went further and turned off all window updates on my desktop because they were bothersome.

If you haven't updated before, it might be time; otherwise, if everything functions properly, an update isn't necessary. Honestly, I prefer a big hammer over anything else!
