I've been testing MO2 and noticed some issues. In this video, things appear much more defined and sharper. I viewed it on Linux using the NVIDIA driver installed.

Artifacting or performance problems often suggest a faulty GPU driver. Besides that, other factors like a bad GPU, VRAM, or monitor can also cause visual issues. Among these causes, the GPU driver is usually the simplest to resolve. When diagnosing, start with the easiest solutions before moving to more complex ones. It's common practice to refresh your GPU driver every few months after several updates, completely clearing the driver and installing only the latest stable version. However, I don't usually do that unless I encounter particular problems.

I think the GPU drivers being corrupted are probably at the bottom of the list of things you want to look at first. Is your display set to its native resolution? is the game as well? Does the game have a render resolution slider and is it at 100%? What are the rest of the settings?

Do you unintentionally increase the resolution of gamecube and its content?

It seems the GPU drivers might be the main issue. Have you confirmed your display is set to its native size? Is the game running at full resolution? Check if there’s a render resolution slider and ensure it’s at 100%. I’ll capture a screenshot of the settings menu for you.

If it isn't as crisp, boost sharpness in the NVIDIA control panel.

The scaling on Windows doesn't impact the game performance. Regarding the sharpening feature in NCP, it's not mentioned in the details provided. Your monitor does offer a sharpening option, though it may vary by model.

The game is displayed at 2560x1440 resolution. It looks clear and sharp without any need for a monitor sharpening feature.

When running the game on its original display settings, the picture may appear unclear.
