Hey there, I'm trying to get my new PC ready and downloaded the drivers from the motherboard site you linked. But I hit this strange error. I think I might have picked up a virus somewhere on the forum. I installed the driver in this order: Realtek LAN, Realtek 8852 Wi-Fi, then Realtek 8852 Bluetooth. The Program Compatibility Assistant popped up. Anyone know what's going on or why it happened? What should I do next? Thanks a lot!

I processed the driver file one at a time (holding off until the installation was done) and once the Bluetooth driver appeared, a popup showed up.

I recently assembled this system, the AMD chipset driver is set up, the NVIDIA driver is installed, and I haven’t activated Windows using a physical key yet.

Have you restarted the system? Did you attempt to install the driver with administrator privileges?

Your brain is really working overtime after two days of setup. It looks like restarting and switching to admin fixed the issue without any errors. The driver version in Device Manager matches what you downloaded, so everything seems to be in order. Regarding the 7z file, it’s possible it wasn’t included or wasn’t properly installed—check the original download or ensure the installer was complete. If you’re still unsure, let me know and we can troubleshoot further! Thanks again!

It's hard to say for sure. I noticed that 7z is often used for creating self-extracting archives.
