I recently changed some components in my build. I upgraded from a 2070Super to a 3080 and swapped a 600W PSU for a modular 850W unit. Everything worked well despite an early boot problem. However, I’ve observed unusual temperature readings on HWMonitor—my motherboard’s “SYS” temperature stays at 127°C, unchanged from power on to power off. It seems this value hasn’t always been accurate, though I’m not sure if it was caused by a probe adjustment or a glitch. I also use the FanControl app, but it doesn’t seem to resolve the issue.

Hwmonitor occasionally gives inaccurate measurements. Don't be concerned. I used a board that displays -22.

It's quite cold here. I thought maybe there was an error, but I haven't noticed it before the upgrades, so I wasn't sure if it was my action or something else.

127 is frequently mistaken as a sensor fault, but it's simply a normal readout. No cause for concern here.
