I checked the options and found no affordable motherboard with a recent BIOS update. Most recommend an 8th generation CPU for flashing the BIOS. I’m targeting a 13-9100f.

Consider switching to a Ryzen instead. The R5 2600 offers comparable pricing and overall performance improvements. However, you'll need a B365 chipset board to ensure affordable and full compatibility.

Adding two more cores and twelve threads instead of four offers significantly more performance, delivering a much stronger processor for your money.
