I was searching for a motherboard that fits this CPU, but PCPartPicker mentioned a compatibility issue even though the socket and chipset seem compatible. Can anyone explain why I received this error? Is it because my BIOS needs an update?

It will be okay. Just keep in mind to purchase a cooler for the CPU. There are superior MOBOS available.
