I own an H61h2-ad Mobo with a Pentium G630 installed. I looked for compatible CPUs and found a recommendation for an Intel i5 2nd Gen quad. Now that a 2nd Gen i5 is supported, can I also run an Intel i7 2nd Gen? If yes, which i7 models would work best? Thanks!

It looks like your motherboard supports up to 65 watts, but your Intel Core i5-2500 has a 95-watt CPU. That should be okay as long as your power supply can handle the load.

You should pick a CPU with at least 65 watts to ensure it runs efficiently without overheating.
