Instead of trying to fix it myself, I found a better solution. I avoided the mistake by ordering a different model, like the R5 3600, after realizing my earlier steps were wrong. I learned from the experience and tried not to repeat it.
This would likely happen due to lack of standardization. Your prebuilt might even come from Asus or use an Asus motherboard.
It's actually Lenovo. The placement of the PW SW connector and my cables matches perfectly, so it's definitely great. Probably just a lucky break.

I had no idea those existed, I see no reason why it wouldn't work, its just a wire extension, very cool.
