I have an old i7 4770k without a motherboard, and the one I had broke. (Asrock Z87 Extreme4) I checked for that exact board and saw it costs more than 100$ on eBay. I’m not keen on spending that much for an old DDR3 board, so I’m wondering if any compatible motherboard with a socket 1150 exists.

1150 boards work well, but they mainly fit 4th generation Intel processors.

Asus Z87 and Z97 boards are typically in good condition, often available for about $60.

Search eBay for motherboards with an I/O shield, unless that’s irrelevant. Just type "Asus Z87" or "Asus Z97" to find what you need.
