Hey there! You're looking at a budget-friendly build with your RX 6700 XT. The deal you found seems solid—swapping to an i5 12400F and saving on other parts could work, though you might notice a slight drop in FPS. It’s not a huge loss if you’re okay with it. If you wait, you could eventually upgrade to an AMD platform later. What matters most is balancing performance and your budget.

I need a new PC similar to the Ryzen 5 5600X but at a much lower cost, which is why I checked out this deal.

I prefer the R5 5600X built with AMD but saw an Intel option at a better price offering CPU, RAM, and other specs.

You don’t need to choose an AMD CPU since the i5 will work fine. It handles the workload well, and there’s an alternative from Intel if you’re concerned about SAM/reBar.

I was concerned about that too. I wasn’t aware of it before.

Which nation is it? The budget details? Please share the eBay link so you can review the price. The comparison focuses on a used 5600(x) for $80–100, a used Midrange Ranger B3/450 similar to gaming plus/tomahawk around $50, or a used 16/32GB DDR4 module at $30–$50 depending on availability. Keep in mind these options will surpass new XMP boards after tuning to 3800–4000.
