Check compatibility for Resizable BAR(SAM) on ASRock B450, Ryzen 3000 + Radeon 6000.
I observed limited details about this specific hardware, so I’m just curious if anyone here has experience. Would the listed components work smoothly with full SAM support? Mobo: ASRock B450 PRO4 (5000 bios), CPU – any Ryzen 3000? GPU – any RX 6000? If yes, is updating the BIOS still worthwhile?
Available only with 500-series motherboards and the Rx6000. Unless AMD specifies otherwise, updating the BIOS isn't necessary.
The updated 400 series boards now support both 5000 and 3000 Ryzen processors, but it's unclear if ASRock activated this feature for the 3000 series.
The issue lies with ASRock's inconsistent updates for BIOS patch logs and new feature details... UwU
It seems the issue lies elsewhere—they likely chose not to back the older model to boost sales of the newer version. All updates and improvements are clearly documented in the logs. There’s no justification for skipping essential capabilities.
