Hello. To assemble a simple and affordable RTX mining setup using just one RTX 3060, focus on key specs. Ensure the motherboard has a 16x PCIe slot for the GPU. Verify compatibility with your CPU—like a Gigabyte E6010n paired with an R2 processor works. Check power delivery, cooling options, and budget constraints to confirm feasibility.

A GPU can work with any CPU, but what does R2 refer to?

It just became clear that R2 was fully integrated XD

This board or SoC can only use a single PCI slot, let alone PCIe. It doesn't work.

Yes, just make sure it has a 16x PCIe port.

Requires x16 PCIe interface with a minimum version of PCIe 3.0 for optimal performance.

They likely use 8x PCIe. For a budget build with 1x PCIe, look for affordable options like budget motherboards or entry-level GPUs to keep costs low.

You only require a single PCIe lane for mining, even less than eight. The available bandwidth doesn’t restrict this task. It’s unclear which setup offers the lowest cost, but any system excluding a SoC and built within the past ten years should support PCIe plus an x16 port on the board. Likely, an existing solution will provide the best value.
