Hey, your two 2x8 Kingston Hyper X Fury 3000MHz CL15 kits are great, but they’re no longer in stock locally. Are they still compatible with your system? You don’t want to switch to another RAM type.

It's unclear if they match exactly. You might need to adjust settings yourself. I’d prefer a 32 GB option instead. Just remember, if it's only for gaming, extra storage won’t help much.

I know that you will usually hear from people that you shouldn't mix different ram models. But really something like Fury 3200Mhz CL16 should work just fine with those, and they aren't hard to find in the market. XMP should sort the speeds and timings just fine. If not, you can manually set them to 3000Mhz CL15. As the above answer suggested, make sure your use case needs it, as there's no reason to go above 16GB just for gaming nowadays.

Timings can be configured individually for channels A and B. Combining both modules from a single kit into one channel gives flexibility for adjustments. However, they may function well with the XMP settings from the slower kit.

I combined my RAM pieces, it required some manual adjustment but functioned perfectly. To increase the odds of success, ensure both sets of chips are identical! For my setup it was 2x8 and 2x8 Samsung C-DIE, which made them straightforward to tune together.
